Were can a stove go?
Caravan.
It was once not unusual to see wooden 'caravans' traveling on
British roads. Many would have contained a simple wood stove for
heating and cooking. This renovated example lacked a stove but we
found and restored to working order a period stove for this
client.

affair on the outside but this wagon sitting on it's original
cast-iron wheel rims is comfy and well organised inside. |
A beech wood stool and simple kettle
offer a seat near the warmth for the cooler months and hot water
for as long as the kettle remains filled. |
With just the right height for the
'draw' yet still able to pass beneath all but the lowest bridges
the flue works well with a wind from any direction. |
