Stoves

There are many terms to describe our heating appliances, such as woodburning stoves, dutch ovens, pot bellies, room heaters, cast iron stoves, steel stoves, multi fuelled stoves, solid fuel heaters, cleanburn stoves, airwash stoves and more. They all have new fuel burning technology such as secondary burn, tertuary burn, clearview glass, airwash systems and even some woodburners come with thermostat or remote control. You can now heat the whole of your house with a cental heating system running off of your stove with a back boiler. This can be referred to as a clip in boiler or wrap round boiler. Now with all this choice and technology there is an appliance to suit all your needs so if you have any questions about any of our products please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will try to explain all these terms and find the best product that suits your individual requirements.

FACT
Did you know that an open fire only gives 20% heat into the room while 80% is going up your chimney, including your central heating? A stove produces on average 80% heat into the room plus uses less fuel and is safe to leave over night or when you go out for the day and will still be alight when you return to it.
